Sitter's Log exists to give sitters a clean, joyful way to record each assignment, and to give owners a calm window into how their pets and home are doing — without a stream of instant messages to keep up with.
Why I made this
Sitter's Log is something I'm sharing with other pet sitters because I wanted a nice way to mark the memories of all my pet sitting experiences.
It also gives me a way to share more pictures and writing without having to send DMs to my clients: they can read if and when they want to, without feeling they have to respond — they are usually on holiday, trying to take a break.
As a sitter, keeping a log is also a fantastic way to show that you are devoted and caring.
Sitting for someone is a matter of trust, so it is nice to do things that make clients feel more at ease while they are away.

Every sitting arrangement is different, so writing about it should feel light and personal — never like paperwork.
